Description
Responsibilities:
- Manages logistics of agency fundraising events, under supervision of Development Director, including committee/volunteer involvement, auction items, graphics and marketing, ticket sales and sponsorships.
- Manages all 3rd Party and Awareness events benefiting the organization.
- Maintains current relationships and develops new ones with various Faith and Service Clubs in the community.
- Solicits corporate sponsorships for fundraising events and helps develop a new corporate partnership program in tandem with Development Director to further engage the corporate community.
- Manages development volunteers and event interns as necessary.
- Helps develop annual report, newsletters and direct appeals.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Development Director.

Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree with a minimum of two years related experience with another nonprofit or similar area involving event planning.
- Ability and willingness to engage potential donors and to articulate a compelling case for sponsorship.
- Passion for helping disadvantaged, homeless and at-risk youth.
- Experience with Donor Perfect or a similar fundraising database is preferred.
- Initiative, sound judgment and ability to work independently. Ability to manage and set priorities and deadlines for multiple projects with competing deadlines.
- Excellent at organizing, managing and completing multiple complex projects and tasks simultaneously with thoroughness, accuracy, timeliness and good humor.
- Demonstrates superior interpersonal skills and customer service focus.
- Posseses intermediate skills in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Publisher (or similar design program).
