Carry-Out Caravan Program Manager:
For more than 40 years, BCCC provides volunteer-powered services to seniors and adults with disabilities. The Carry-Out Caravan Program Manager reports to the Program and Volunteer Director and is responsible for management and operations of Boulder County CareConnect’s Carry-Out Caravan Program in Longmont and Boulder, a volunteer driven grocery shopping and delivery program throughout Boulder County. This is a full-time 40 hour a week position with benefits.

Responsibilities:
The Carry-Out Caravan Program Manager’s primary responsibility is to coordinate all aspects of the Carry-Out Caravan program this includes (1) volunteer management, (2) client management, (3) logistics management, (4) program development. The Program Manager is expected to be at the store on Carry-Out delivery days and miss no more than twelve delivery days a year.
• Client intake and enrollment process
• Data collection, entry and reporting
• Conduct both client and volunteer program evaluations
• Client and volunteer outreach activities
• Supervision of the daily activities of Carry-Out Caravan volunteers
• Program assessment and yearly operational planning

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Competencies:
• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum two years experience in volunteer management
• Experience working with seniors and understanding the aging population
• Excellent logistics manager. The ability to solve complex problems, effectively anticipate and implement critical program changes
• The ability to effectively manage, support and motivate others
• Analytical thinker with the ability to develop and execute operations plans
• Excellent public speaking and presentation skills
• Ability to connect with others and forge strong relationships
• Committed to the mission of serving seniors and adults with disabilities
• Highly organized, analytical, IT-competent – proficient in Microsoft Office programs and service delivery databases
• Exemplifies BCCC’s values in daily life
• Spanish bilingual a plus

Essential functions/working conditions:
• Light physical demands, must be able to stand for long periods of time on program days
• Must be able to work under stress of meeting deadlines and changing priorities
• Able to manipulate normal business machines and technology. For example; able to operate computer and computer systems, office copiers, fax, remote access, phones
• Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
