Position Background:
The Accounting staff is one person and reports to Operations/Business Manager and President. Full time is 40 hours per week in office, and more as required for semi-annual board meetings and annual independent audit. The WILD Foundation staff consists of 8 people in our Boulder office, with numerous contractors.

 

Job Requirements

Minimum qualifications:
- Accounting degree
- Minimum of 4 years professional experience
- Highly proficient in the following software programs: Quickbooks and GAAP accounting, Microsoft Office Suite (especially competent with Excel)

Other desired skills, but not necessary:
- Grant accounting (foundation and government)
- Foreign currency transactions

Principal Responsibilities:
- Daily bookkeeping
- A/R, A/P
- Budgeting cash flow
- Investment tracking
- Preparation of monthly reports (graphic and data) against budget and forecast
- Servicing annual independent audit
- Analyzing results
- HR related insurance
- Creating spreadsheet-based tools as needed
