Description

Be part of a growing, well-respected organization battling child abuse

Our Purpose: At Blue Sky Bridge, we facilitate a collaborative approach to child abuse investigations while providing child victims and their families with support in a safe and child-focused environment. We strive to make the community safer for all children and families through intervention, education and advocacy.

What We Do: Blue Sky Bridge provides a safe and supportive environment for children who are victims of abuse, where a neutral, professionally-led forensic interview provides case information for all participating law enforcement, judicial and social service agencies. We decrease trauma experienced by children and families during these investigations by providing immediate intervention, crisis intervention counseling, family support and follow-up services to child victims and non-offending family members at the onset of child abuse investigations.

Where We Are Going: In 2014, we served over 2500 children, families, and community members – and demand for our prevention and intervention services continues to grow. To meet that demand, Blue Sky Bridge is embarking on a physical expansion and capital campaign with a fully committed and engaged Board of Directors, and has implemented a strategic fund development plan to ensure that we meet our financial goals. We are an established organization with a great reputation and a strong base of financial support. Blue Sky Bridge has all the building blocks in place to serve the children and families who need this help. We are seeking a Director of Development and Communications to assist in stacking those blocks into a powerful, leading-edge organization, and to then nurture it as it thrives.
